Coronavirus Update 14/03/2020

Please click or see below for a coronavirus update from Court Guinness for 14/03/2020

I have had to make certain changes and move some things around in the light of Coronavirus (COVID-19)

I will not be attending Trade Fairs for the foreseeable future. All overseas business trips are also cancelled until further notice. I will not be attending business networking events until further notice.

I cannot meet face-to-face with anyone who:

  1. Has returned from a category one or category two country within the past 60 days.
  2. Has been in physical contact with anyone who satisfies condition one within the past 60 days.
  3. Has been in contact with anyone who has contracted COVID-19 within the past 60 days
  4. Has contracted COVID-19 within the past 60 days.

There are a number of reasons for this and I was in a very high risk group for COVID-19 and the risk for myself was raised on 13/3/2020.

In addition the risk was raised yesterday by no less than the prestigious medical journal, The Lancet, who stated that the risk of both contracting and exacerbating the effects for COVID-19 was higher in people who have to take certain medications that people with heart conditions are required to take. Medicines which I am required to take for my heart conditions which many regular readers are aware of.

I do not wish to totally self-isolate but I will at short notice if the need arises.

I am still available for meetings and workshops via a new web-based collaborative working and video conferencing tool which I have just deployed. This tool is a beast and a thing of excellence in software engineering and I have no doubt that my colleagues who use it will enjoy using it and gain benefit from it over previous tools. I will also make more time available in my diary which is outside of standard UK/EU working hours for additional meetings.

The Trade House Magazine will be published on schedule.

I apologise for the changes that I have had to make.

This website will be kept up to date in light of any developments.
