December 2019 Update from Court Guinness

Please see below for a December 2019 Update

Firstly I am so pleased that the Winter 2019 The Trade House Magazine has just passed the 5,000 reader mark. It was a nightmare publishing in the closing stages of a general election. An experience I hope never to have to repeat. The magazine has over £600 Million of business and property opportunities crammed in to it. My thanks go out to those who urged me to bring it back.

I visited London the other day for some meetings and a social. This was only a few months since my last visit and things seem to have gone from bad to worse! I would like to thank the vandals who ripped off the mirror of the car I was travelling in. What the point guys? When will the tide change for the better in London. I still get inundated with news of burglaries, muggings and worse from friends every week. This is a shame for a capital city. On heading back north I was in a hurry because I wanted to be out of there, I tried so hard to get a speeding ticket but I failed. This is highly unusual as I am usually the first to get a speeding ticket. It was good, though to share a beer with so many old friends.

The breakage list is low this time. Just a wing mirror on a Volkswagen! I keep expecting this list to get to get exponentially larger but somehow it stays very low. The health issues are still there and will never get any better now and at this time of year I am being more than both studious and assiduous in trying to avoid a christmas visit to hospital.

The traffic to this website continues to grow nicely with double figure growth this year and a nice uplift in long tail search hits from Google. This website may get a “lick of paint” in the new year.

I will be returning the Virtual Office in the New Year. This will be a slimmed down version of the previous version and will be based on and around the Nextcloud product.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish friends, clients, associates, partners, readers and visitors a Happy Christmas and a prosperous 2020.

The latest edition of The Trade House Magazine is below for those of you who may have missed it.
